Vaduthala folks to move apex court
    Thursday November 23 2006 08:48 IST

KOCHI: The Vaduthala Janakeeya Samara Samithy will approach
the Supreme Court against the order of the Kerala High Court on
    Monday.

    *****

Whoever sold this “idea” to the “folks” have plans to
make money at the cost of these people. Apex court
will in no doubt throw their case out. Some of these
“leaders” have been acting as agents to scuttle the
whole development project which is expected to generate
millions of job in the coming decade. Now these “leaders”
are also trying to fecth some money to certain SC lawyers
by misleading the folks. Not a single Kochiite will fund
    their motivated destructive attempts.
Interestingly, their “case” bares the wicked mindset of
the so-called “leaders”. Every single one of the 70 families
displaced is being rehabilitated in township. This bunch is
approaching court saying that “cost is high” !! The route
has been decided in order not to affect Mangalavanam and
the High Court. Hence the cost is higher. Moreover,
Mangalavanam route can facilitate only single line, where as
    requirement is a double line.
It is cheap on the part of people like Medha Patkar to “take up”
such cases where there really is no case as everone is
compensated with 110% of what they lose. It will only
help to color her as an anti-development crook - like
the conmen posing as “leaders” of Janakiya Samity.

    End of the controversy !!

opposed the project even after getting a handsome rehab
package did it only to scuttle the project at the behest
    of certain anti-Kochi, anti-development lobbies.
