Cochin to host global Malayalee conference
KERALITES from Bahrain are to take part in the World Malayalee Council’s (WMC)
fifth global conference, scheduled to be held in Cochin in August, it was revealed yesterday.
The conference will be held at the Gokulam Convention Centre in Cochin from August
3 to 6 and it will be preceded by a two-day international youth festival. About 2,000

Kochi to host corporate Olympiad

KOCHI: India’s corporate Olympiad is coming to our courtyard. The ‘Queen of the Arabian Sea’ has been tipped to play host to the second edition of the ‘Microsoft Corporate Challenge’ from August 31 to September 3.
Seven-member teams representing 50 leading corporates in India will participate in the competition, which is a mix of physical and intellectual challenge for three days and nights. Two of the team members must be women and at least one must be a senior management professional.
The competition is based on an international format in which the skills acquired in the boardroom are tested in an outdoor environment. Registration for the event, which will be managed by Sports Media Ltd and DNA Networks has begun.
